Ukraine court extends Russian journalist’s detention, sparking protest rally in Moscow

A Ukrainian court has prolonged the detention of a Russian journalist until just before the new year. Kirill Vyshinsky, who has dual Russian-Ukrainian nationality, was arrested in Kiev in May on charges of treason.

Friday marks the international day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists. Many gathered in front of the Urkainian embassy in Moscow to demand the release of Kirill Vyshinsky. READ MORE:
