Check Keiser Report website for more: http://www.maxkeiser.com/

In this episode of the Keiser Report, Max and Stacy discuss the official emergence of ‘facecrime’ in America and whether or not this fact means we meet Orwell’s definition of totalitarian. And is deplatforming and cutting off from the PayPal grid part of that trend? They also look at the ‘fake credit ratings’ and ‘fake cash’ propping up the corporate sector in China. In the second half, Max interviews bitcoin investor, Trace Mayer, about the legislation he is helping craft in Wyoming.

What It’s Like To Have A Famous Far-Right Sibling And Disagree With Them (HBO)

Politics can create deeply awkward Thanksgiving dinners for many American families, but for these guys, politics is actually tearing their families apart. Dave and Tim Gosar were so appalled by the public positions of their brother, Arizona Congressman Paul Gosar, that they appeared in an ad for his political opponent. Curtis Ingraham is the brother of Fox News host Laura Ingraham. He says they used to be so close they could finish each other’s sentences; now he denounces her hot takes on Twitter.

“Are you supposed to stand by your family no matter what they do? ‘Oh, hi Paul, other than demonizing immigrants and trying to take away our healthcare… how’s it going?” Dave Gosar said. “Let’s agree to disagree about taking babies from their parents at the border…Pass the turkey!”

Curtis’ sister was just parodied on Saturday Night Live. He said Kate McKinnon captured his sister’s mannerisms beautifully, but he’s unsettled by what the parody symbolizes. “Someone asked me: is that your sister or is she playing a personality?” Curtis said. “I think that is her now, that’s who she has become.”

VICE News brought the three of them together in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, before the midterm elections, to talk about what it’s like to experience a very common family drama on a national stage.

Mexico’s Disappeared & Provoking North Korea: VICE News Tonight Full Episode (HBO)

September 26 marks the third anniversary of the disappearance of 43 Mexican college students from the city of Iguala. While this case gained international attention, going missing in Mexico isn’t uncommon. More than 30,000 people are currently missing, and it’s become eerily commonplace for construction crews to stumble on mass graves.

VICE News explores why threatening North Korea with military action could backfire–and encourage the country to strike first.

The Eclipse Doctor Heads to Nebraska For Solar Eclipse 2017

Kate Russo, 44, is a bona fide eclipse chaser, a member of a small group of hard-core, dedicated enthusiasts who make it their life’s mission to follow and observe total solar eclipses. Russo has seen 10 total eclipses so far, traveling to places like Madagascar, Mongolia, Turkey, Tunisia, and China.

Recently, her focus has been on the United States, which is set to experience a total solar eclipse on Aug. 21. Russo has spent the past year helping people living in the path of totality prepare for what’s coming.

The path for this eclipse stretches across 14 states, from Oregon all the way to South Carolina, but the majority of the 1,000 or so communities along the stretch are small; the two biggest cities are Kansas City and Nashville. Still, some 200 million Americans live within a short drive of the path, and eclipse tourism is expected to draw big crowds later this month.

Russo will be spending the big day in Grand Teton National Park, in Wyoming, leading a small tour of 30 fellow eclipse chasers who are flying in from around the world. But the majority of her focus on preparation so far has been with a cluster of small towns in Nebraska, in the middle of the path of totality. One town, Ravenna, with a population of about 1,300 is expecting anywhere from 5,000 to 15,000 people to visit during the eclipse — a bit of a challenge given that Ravenna has only one hotel with just five rooms. (Russo’s advice to the town: Set up dedicated campsites to deal with the volume.)

Even though total solar eclipses happen somewhere on earth once every 18 months, they don’t come around to the same place again very often. There hasn’t been a total solar eclipse in the mainland U.S. since 1979, which means anyone under the age of 40 living here has probably never had the chance to see one. Russo is excited to share the experience with a new generation.

Obama’s Climate Change Legacy (HBO)

The economic recovery that President Obama oversaw came with some costs to the environment, most notably in the increase in oil and gas extraction on American land.

Obama signed international climate deals, protected an unprecedented amount of federal land, nixed pipelines, and promoted renewable energy. But through it all, the fracking industry has been booming.

Employment in oil and gas extraction has increased 35 percent since 2009, and U.S. shale gas production nearly quadrupled between 2009 and 2015.

Fracking has been blamed for serial earthquakes in Oklahoma, and polluted groundwater from Wyoming to Pennsylvania, but it’s also played a big role in bringing the U.S. to near energy independence, a priority that both parties have been pushing for decades.
