Right-wing party Vox bites off chunk of Spanish socialist votes in general election

Spain’s ruling Socialist Workers’ Party has claimed victory in Sunday’s general election. It failed to gain a parliamentary majority though and will now have to secure the support of other parties in order to form a government.
