Vandera feat. Lickz – Ring The Alarm (Instrumental)

Buy: http://btprt.dj/1JpytkB

Expressions by Fokuz returns with a marvelous 12” record by liquid stalwart Vandera. He delivers three diverse but excellent tracks with plenty of groove for those who like their beats with soul. ”Ring The Alarm” features live guitar licks played over sultry rhode chords that could remind one of early Makoto. Next up is ”Sparkin Up” that has a slightly deeper, dancefloor edge with techy stabs and rolling, powerfull drums. Last but not least ”Make Believe” featuring Alicia Romero brings us a bit of melancholy with heartfelt vocals and soaring bass sounds. Best to pick this baby up, you won’t regret it.

Ed:It & J Daure – Into The Light

Released 9th March.

ED:IT is a producer that needs very little introduction. His sound has graced many a label over the past 3 years, including Critical Music, SGN:LTD, C.I.A and Hospital Records to name just a few. Now he fires onto Addictive Behaviour in 2015 with his proud first release of the new year. Consisting of a huge 3 track EP – including – A remix of Eastcolors – ‘Mad Day’, ‘Into The Light’ a collaboration with J Daure and finishing off with one of his own scintillating compositions ‘Valhalla’.

A short octave changing chord gets Into The Light underway before an urgent sounding phat kick and a huge cracking snare prime the track for the introduction of a full, thick, pounding, rhythmic bass. And with plenty of subtle background noises filling the track out, making this a big dance floor stepper, proper rolling vibes.

EastColors – Mad Day (Ed:It Remix)

Released 9th March.

ED:IT is a producer that needs very little introduction. His sound has graced many a label over the past 3 years, including Critical Music, SGN:LTD, C.I.A and Hospital Records to name just a few. Now he fires onto Addictive Behaviour in 2015 with his proud first release of the new year. Consisting of a huge 3 track EP – including – A remix of Eastcolors – ‘Mad Day’, ‘Into The Light’ a collaboration with J Daure and finishing off with one of his own scintillating compositions ‘Valhalla’.

Opening with a sprawling, rich, atmospheric soundscape that although maintains the identity of the original takes it deeper and warmer. The tweaked sounds of the original combining with the new, whilst flickering high hats sit before the haunting and hanging vocal that dissolves away into the drop. An example of how to deliver clean but yet gritty drum programming reminiscent of classic MetalHeadz. Altered, enhanced and superbly re-licked for 2015
