Taiwanese reject China’s idea for unification

Apache & Black Hawk copters fire with machine guns during Taiwan military drills

Taiwan showcased its military capability with a live-fire demonstration in front of President Tsai Ing-wen. The drill in the southern county of Pingtung, simulated an attempt by Chinese forces to land on the shores of southeastern Taiwan, as part of the annual Han Kuang war games. US-built Apache and Black Hawk assault helicopters took part in the exercises for the first time.
