In 2016 we grew our high-energy club night into a true drum & bass celebration, Hospitality In The Park. The 10,000 strong party drew together DJs, fans, listeners, singers, live acts and MCs together to showcase every shade and style encompassing a 174 heartbeat. As the Finsbury Park fun continues and round two promising even bigger stage takeovers and a myriad of artist weaponry, we present an equally bursting drum & bass double disc, the ‘Hospitality In The Park 2017’ LP.

In the same vein as our all-day summer special, this huge 70 track mash-up spans across a full 360’ perspective of the genre; representing the established, up and coming, soulful, obscure, liquid, innovative, dark, techy, neuro, jungle style and everything in between.

Included are over 25 brand new exclusives from reputable drum & bass titans Danny Byrd, S.P.Y, Makoto and Keeno, there are VIPs from Metrik and Nu:Logic, remixes from Hugh Hardie, Total science, Camo & Krooked and Calibre, and a ‘Bullet Proof’ banger from Krakota.

Across two mixed CDs we’ve drawn for this year’s surefire summer weapons with Fred V & Grafix, The Prototypes, 1991, High Contrast, The Upbeats, Breakage in the mix. With this year’s Incubator stage pulling artists that are rising through the ranks, up and comers’ Whiney, Unglued, GLXY and Kyrist bring exciting new offerings to the compilation.

Both fans and artists came together from all over the globe last year and we expect no less in 2017. Equally, this compilation gives an international perspective covering all corners of the globe from Japan’s Mountain, the USA’s Flite and Ownglow, the Netherlands Black Sun Empire and New Zealand’s Shapeshifter.

Drum & bass is stronger than ever and it’s here to stay.

Trei & North Base – Hostile Universe

Buy: http://smarturl.it/sodnb2016

Viper Recordings launched their new ‘The Sound of Drum & Bass’ compilation series last year to high acclaim worldwide. Registering in at #12 in the official UK Dance Albums chart, following the 2015 edition was going be a challenging task, but Futurebound’s forward thinking label is never one to shy away from a challenging task.

From start to finish, #SODNB is chock-full of Drum & Bass superstars; Matrix & Futurebound, Noisia, The Upbeats, Cyantific, The Prototypes, InsideInfo, Mefjus, Tantrum Desire, Rene LaVice, as well as legendary dance pioneers The Prodigy, who all sit seamlessly alongside Viper’s rising stars: Smooth, Trei, Mob Tactics, BMotion, and more.

With such a stacked lineup, at this point you’d think that was enough… but not when Futurebound is at the helm. Viper head honcho and A&R mastermind, Futurebound, has squeezed in 12 new unreleased Viper exclusive tracks from legends and newcomers such as: J Majik, Trei, North Base, Wickaman, Insomniax, Loko, Killer Hertz, Six Blade, Cynematic, Dossa & Locuzzed, Toronto Is Broken, NCT & Franky Nuts, Citybox, and Octo-Pi & Modify Perspective. This all wrapped up with a bonus DJ mix by the mighty Koven.

New Zealand Shapeshifter – Sleepless (B-Complex Remix)

Buy Here: http://hospi.tl/systemisaremix
iTunes: http://hospi.tl/sleeplessremixitunes

Heralded as a musical phenomenon – Shapeshifter’s unique blend of heavy soul, and drum + bass is every bit as rugged and epic as the landscape of their native New Zealand. Like Jonah Lomu on a D+B mission, their ground breaking sound will knock you off your feet.

Following the release of ”The System Is A Vampire”, Hospital have called in a legion of Drum + Bass talent called in to create an awesome EP of remixes. The likes of Netsky, Logistics, State of Mind and The Upbeats are all masters of their game and sure enough – with the raw energy of Shapeshifter’s material to work with they have each created something special.

First up fellow NZ residents State Of Mind deliver a powerful take on album opener “Dutchies”. A searing synth work out with a grinding dancefloor mixdown. P Diggsss vocal cries out “Welcome to the Ride” – the perfect set opener, this anthem has been setting off Hospitality events across the UK and worldwide.

Man of the moment Netsky stamps his trademark 2010 sound on “The Touch”. Acoustic pianos and clean vocals give way to glitching electro arpeggios and a riffing sawtooth bassline. Netsky mania continues and the Belgian whizzkid continues to justify his hype.

The Upbeats original remix of “Twin Galaxies” was a highlight of Sick Music2, this VIP retouch brings the vibe to vinyl perfectly, while on the final slice of wax, Logistics awesome remix of “Lifetime” rounds off the package perfectly. His trademark crisp beats and clean bass sound result in a piece of music with an effortless groove.

NZ Shapeshifter – The Touch (Camo & Krooked Remix)

Buy Here: https://www.hospitalrecords.com/shop/release/new-zealand-shapeshifter/nhs173-the-system-is-a-remix

Following the release of ”The System Is A Vampire”, Hospital called in a legion of Drum + Bass talent called in to create an awesome EP of remixes. The likes of Netsky, Logistics, State of Mind and The Upbeats are all masters of their game and sure enough – with the raw energy of Shapeshifter’s material to work with they have each created something special.

Dose – Mind The Future

BUY: http://bit.ly/1i6pkwV

New Zealand has had a constant presence on Commercial Suicide over the years having released the likes of Concord Dawn, Trei, The Upbeats and of course the boy wonder himself, DOSE. With such a rich musical culture the country has always nurtured true talent across all styles so its no wonder that it’s Drum & Bass scene is one of the worlds best.

Having co-written one of the true Commercial Suicide classics “Valium Express”, Suicide always hoped to release something more from DOSE (aka Chris Truman) and finally this is happening with the forthcoming release of his debut LP “MIND THE FUTURE” (due late May). Today we present to you 2 tracks as a sneak prevue of this LP. “Scourge” co-produced with fellow Kiwi VICTIM and on the flip the LP’s namesake “Mind The Future”.
