Pursuing a rapid ascension to D&B’s top table since signing to Hospital, Fred V & Grafix have quickly become one of the most talked about acts in the scene. Having remixed top 10 hits for Rudimental and Subfocus, and released a string of singles and tracks on Hospital, they now present their debut long player. An ambitious and consummate development of the sound they have become know for, built on a solid foundation of D&B beats. The album combines their love for live music, weighty sub bass and creative collaborations with newschool vocalists and producers.

With prodigious song-writing, epic musicality and dancefloor sensibility, “Recognise” eschews the predictable structure of todays identikit D&B. Simultaneously intellectual and effortless, it’s a breath of fresh air that builds on the success of Fred V & Grafix previous releases and includes “Major Happy” and “We Are 18” favourite “Catch My Breath”.

Fred V & Grafix – Recognise (Panda Remix)

iTunes: http://hospi.tl/recogniseitunes Hospital Shop: http://hospi.tl/recognise

The first single to be taken from Fred V & Grafix forthcoming debut LP. Recognise showcases these two young producers at the peak of their game.

Combining prodigious song-writing, epic musicality and dancefloor sensibility, ‘Recognise’ eschews the predictable structure of todays identikit D+B and opens with intricate arpeggios and skittering beats. Evolving into an ambitious and complex composition featuring lead vocals from Fred V himself.

Simultaneously intellectual and effortless, it’s a breath of fresh air that builds on the success of Fred V & Grafix previous successes ‘Major Happy’, ‘Games People Play’ and the current ‘Catch My Breath’,

Receiving its debut airplay on Annie Mac’s Friday night Radio One show, Fred V & Grafix count Subfocus, Netsky, Mistajam and B Traits as fans.

Young gun Emperor applies his twisted neurofunk genius to the remix for this package, choosing to frontload the song and harmonic structure before descending with a Spartan bassline workout and rugged tick-tock drums which will have every 21st century junglist grinning from ear to ear.

Fellow South-Western young guns Panda drop the tempo and flip the genre with their own sublime take on the original to round off the package.

iTunes – https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/hyper-hyper/id362547018?uo=4&at=11l9mP

One of the sleeping giants on the ever expanding Hospital roster, Dan Greshams musical output has been select and specific of late. Whilst his contribution to Hospitals Future Sound of Cambridge and Sick Music projects have been huge, this is his first single since the massive System 12 featuring Matrix and Natalie Williams.

Hyper Hyper is the convulsing electro D+B anthem which has been mashing up dancefloors and airwaves since it began to appear in the sets of A-listers at the turn of the year. Instantly recognisable from its infectious chromatic synth riff, its already being championed by the likes of Subfocus in Mixmag crossing outside the confines of D+B into the wider world.
