The government of Iraq announced that it liberated Eastern Mosul on Tuesday, but the battle continues. Helping the push to retake the center of Mosul from the North are highly successful Popular Mobilization Units, more commonly known as the controversial Shiite Militias. These groups, heavily backed by Iran and serving as a contrast to the CTS, offer VICE News Tonight a unique insight into the geopolitics at play in the retaking of Mosul and show the extent to which Iran is invested in Iraq. Correspondent Ben Anderson reports.
