Oversized head, skinny legs & small body: Bizarre statue of Mo Salah raises eyebrows

A bronze statue of Egyptian and Liverpool footballer Mohamed Salah was displayed at the World Youth Forum in Sharm el-Sheikh, in Egypt’s northeastern Sinai Peninsula, on Sunday.

The statue, featuring the football star during a goal celebration with his arms outstretched, raised eyebrows across the world and on social media for its oversized head, skinny legs and small body.

Palestinian champions ‘drift’ car racing for women

Noor Daoud was the only woman to take to the track in Egypt’s Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, where the Palestinian racer impressed the crowds with her “drift” driving skills.
