Russian Soyuz rocket with cargo vessel arrives at ISS

The Russian cargo craft Progress MS-10 docks at the International Space Station bringing with it fuel, oxygen, water and scientific materials, launched into orbit by a Soyuz-FG rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.

The Russian Soyuz rocket carrying two crewmembers suffered a booster malfunction during launch in Kazakhstan. ‘The boosters on a second-stage launching vehicle switched off,’ the sources at the Baikonur Cosmodrome told Interfax news agency. ‘The crew is alive.
