Demonstrators smashed windows, spray-painted monuments and clashed with #riot police Monday on #MexicoCity’s main avenue to protest Mexican authorities’ failure to stop a spiral of violence against women.
Thousands of women took to the streets of the capital for the protest marking the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the latest in a series of large, rowdy marches over soaring rates of femicide and rape in #Mexico.
Masked demonstrators with sledgehammers shattered the glass panes of bus stops and advertising billboards, tore down barricades, lit a bonfire and painted messages such as “How many more need to die?” on monuments lining Paseo de la Reforma, the city’s most famous street.

‘Destroyer’ is released 7th July 2017.
Skalator Music, ” Destroyer E.P.” by Portuguese longstanding musi- cian, producer and DJ, Riot. 2015 saw Riot joining the Metalheadz strict club releasing “Control of People” with Swedish-born producer Mikal, leading to another collaboration for Mikal’s album “Wilderness”, “Segunda” fusing Drum and Bass sounds with Zouk Bass aesthetics. He’s now working on his first solo album to be released later this year, and collaborating with local and international artists alike, refining is unique production style.
“Destroyer E.P.” unleashes four crafted cuts where we see Riot moving away from the “Zouk Bass” sound, into pure Drum and Bass territory. All tunes showcase his samurai production skills, always with the dance floor in mind.

More fresh new music from the always-relevant Cause4Concern crew. Two new remixes surface on C4DIGUK027, courtesy of Mikal and Riot. They turn their attention to the C4C cuts Nightgasp and Never Acid Again, recreating them for summer 2015.
Two experienced and dynamic remixers allow C4C’s music to become something new, both deep and in your face at the same time. Mikal is a well-respected producer with releases on SGN:Ltd, Utopia and Metalheadz, whilst Riot represents Portugal and the Buraka Som Sistema. As well as playing with Buraka, Riot stands alone with a range of styles and projects, including his remix work on C4DIGUK027.
