The waiting is finally over… We’re about to unleash your soundtrack for the next Music week in Miami and it’s packed full of exclusives. With no less than 28 brand new cuts accompanying you onto one of the world’s hottests beaches, prepare for the smooth riding riddims of Ram Records to envelop the US and beyond.

From label stalwarts Delta Heavy, to new signees Teddy Killerz and championed guests Gerra & Stone, there’s a musical taste to suit every palette. Whether it’s from a renowned roster artist or a relative newcomer, this compilation bursting with heaps of exclusives is the only way to launch you headfirst into the innovation drum & bass is renowned for.

Carefully finessing this album, the Ram imprint is about to drum & bass for a transatlantic journey. It’s a showcase of what the genre can offer… electric vibes which pulses through its veins and cherished memories of a tempo which pulls you into the morning’s early hours.

But with the Miami conference pedestalling every major genre which has made electronic music so popular, there would be a void if Ram didn’t step up. And as one of the most withstanding labels from the last two decades, they’ve delivered with immense style. You’re provided with a host of smooth basslines and hotly tantalising vocals to take you from pool-party to clubs at some of the most renowned districts.

Audio is first to deliver, crashing in at full speed and leaving no survivors with the tear out anthem which is ‘Combust’. Then taking you into a web of technicality and meticulous composition is Calyx & Teebee’s ‘Wipe Out’. There are also a huge selection of Vips to firmly solidify why it’s important to revisit tunes which are still to this day so highly sought after; leading the way is Loadstar’s ‘Under Pressure’ Vip, which set a stunning precedent in 2014.

So, now it’s time take the legacy of Hornchurch to Miami and lay down the same roots which are still prevalent throughout the UK today. And adding that to Miami’s reputation, it’s a match which is set to make history.

Miami Music Week: THE most important gathering in dance music since time began. An essential sun-kissed calendar date for artists, industry influencers and enthusiasts alike… Whatever your genre persuasion, if you’re serious about the dance then Miami welcomes with you open arms. David Beckham’s not the only Brit taking over Miami this winter!

Ram Records have represented at this annual meeting of musical minds since day one. Cutting through dance music’s ever-changing fads and flavours with their demonstrative D&B message, they have achieved a rock-solid standing as the most important drum & bass event there. With over a thousand parties happening throughout the event — from VIP pool parties to the epic multi-arena beast Ultra — Ram have worked hard to create this sterling reputation.

This year will be no exception: the label have secured another session at Mekka. One of Downtown Miami’s most desired venues, it will be home to RAMiami with a line-up that reads like a who’s who in D&B: Andy C, Ed Rush & Optical, Wilkinson, Loadstar, Rene LaVice and Delta Heavy.

To celebrate, they’ve curated ‘RAMiami 2014’. Just like their Mekka mission, it’s an all-star cast that represents the broadest scope and most vibrant colour of drum & bass. It’s yet another reminder of how extensive and timeless Ram’s repertoire truly is.

Showcasing drum & bass’s unique melting pot with depth and clarity, every possible style can be enjoyed on ‘RAMiami 2014’: The spine-melting euphoria of Loadstar’s ‘BLVD’. The dreamy melodic textures of Culture Shock’s ‘Ohrwurm’. The grizzle-bass badness of Noisia’s ‘Façade VIP’. The ludicrous rudeness of Roni Size’s ‘Hotness’ remix. The organic instrumentation of Sub Focus’s ‘Flamenco’. The savage steel drum of Moving Fusion’s ‘Chilli Pepper’… The list goes on.

No Ram album is complete without exclusives, too. And amongst this explorative 16 track tale you’ll find three next-level specials that are unavailable anywhere else. Recent Drum&BassArena Artist Of The Week Salaryman dusts his jazz piano and slinky double bass off for ‘My Future’. Mob Tactics, meanwhile, deliver the dark and devious ‘Joe Mangle’. Boasting multi-faceted bass textures and a switch-flipping dynamic on the drop, it’s one of the duo’s best tunes to date. The third exclusive comes from Bluescreens. Last spotted on Ram’s ‘RAMsterdam 2013’ album, here we find them developing their full-throttle audio adventure ‘Strike One’ with a spectacular second part. Flexing a muscular bassline and raw, pummelling drums, it’s a fittingly dramatic finale to yet another exciting, extensive Ram collection.

Miami wouldn’t be the same without Ram’s heavyweight presence. Both their Mekka line-up and this collection of exclusives and timeless classics show exactly why.

Chase & Status Loadstar, Mind Vortex, Optical, Zeds Dead, El Hornet, Specrtrasoul, S.P.Y Calvertron, Chords, Shock One, Crissy Criss, Drumsound, EastColors, Rene LAvice, Futurebound, High Contrast, Nu Tone, Doc Scott, TC, Dillinja, Sub Focus, Ed Rush, Taxman

RAM Records – 2013 Round Up

RAM’s Drum & Bass Annual 2016 – watch/listen here! http://vid.io/xoko
RAM Records – 2013 Round Up

Subscribe for more – http://po.st/SubscribeRamYT

Fresh talent, next level beats, massive albums, epic parties, major awards: 2013 had RAM stamped all over it… And we want to thank YOU for all your support!

2013 was officially the year we released more and partied harder than ever before. Over the 12 months we unleashed 114 tracks on RAM Records, and 23 on Program, and took our branded bass chaos to 47 dancefloors and arenas in 13 countries… Including nine major international festivals! From London to Las Vegas, Croatia to Copenhagen we’ve dominated the dance in every possible direction. These are just a few of our conquests and successes…

Exclusive signings June Miller, Chords and Frankee ensured the Ram family’s reach was broader and bolder than ever before. Wilkinson was responsible for the only UK Top 10 D&B track of the year with ubiquitous sing-along smasher ‘Afterglow’ before unleashing his hugely successful album ‘Lazers Not Included’. Other big album highlights include Rene LaVice’s electrifying debut ‘Insidious’, Loadstar’s boundary burning ‘Future Perfect’ and Andy C’s mindblowing ‘Nightlife 6’ mix opus. With over 100 tracks it was the most ambitious release we’ve ever created and it became our fastest selling album to date.

DC Breaks ‘Swag’, Calyx & TeeBee’s remix of Wilkinson’s ‘Heartbeat’ and Mind Vortex’s ‘Gravity’ all dented the Beatport D&B Top 10 for several months, while Andy C’s return to the world of production scored love on both Beatport and Radio 1 with two Hottest Record accolades from chief tastemaker Zane Lowe… Who also recognised five of Wilkinson’s tracks with the same stamp of approval.

RAM party highlights are equally endless. Our Fabric residency and warehouse parties led to an epic sell out show at Brixton Academy and the RAM Christmas Party at Fabric was the London venue’s fastest selling event of the year. Festival-wise we hosted a full Arcadia takeover at Glastonbury and undertook main stage responsibilities at Outlook. One of the sexiest pool parties in D&B history came courtesy of RAM at Hideout Festival while our Paradiso event at Amsterdam Dance Event was the most hyped event of its kind during the conference.

We also picked up numerous golden victories for both the label and our artists at the Drum&BassArena Awards, National Drum & Bass Awards and DJ Mag. But you know the best success story of 2013?

RAM Records has the best fanbase in the world. None of this would have been possible without your continuous support. You understand why we do what we do and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for every track you’ve invested in and every party you’ve shared with us.

2014 will be even bigger and even more ambitious: in the coming months we’ll be revealing more exclusive signings and a brand new RAM website. Plus you can expect a stack of killer releases… Including a Program debut from Teddy Killerz, a RAM debut from Lynx, plus more slamming releases from Wilkinson, Rene LaVice, Frankee, Loadstar, Chords and many more.

We also have some major party designs, including appearances at We Are Fstvl, Birmingham, Nottingham, Bournemouth, Reading and beyond. We’ll also be returning to electronic music’s most influential event Miami Music Week with Ramiami on March 27th, plus we have some hugely exciting plans in London.

Big respect to everyone who’s supported us… Stay tuned for more next-level updates very, very soon!

Music – Andy C – Haunting / Wilkinson – Afterglow / DC Breaks – Swag
