Having become one of the UK’s most exciting acts over the past few years releasing their bass-heavy brand of garage and grime across labels like Black Butter and MTA, My Nu Leng go back to their roots as they deliver their very first drum & bass EP. And as you’d expect from a duo who’ve been drawn in to remix the likes of Naughty Boy, Rudimental and Clean Bandit, it’s big and it’s very, very clever.
“We are both so excited to be releasing an EP on Shogun! We’ve been huge fans for many years and have bought and collected most of their back catalogue on vinyl. We actually both come from a big drum and bass background and became friends through mixing and looking through each other’s D&B vinyl collections. We first worked with Friction by remixing his track ‘Long Gone Memory’ and more recently have been working with Ed under his new alias FineArt – we showed him some drum and bass we’d been making and he mentioned the idea of an EP on Shogun.
It’s been over a year since that conversation started and we are really happy to now get it out there and an honour for us to bring it on Shogun whilst working with SpectraSoul and Friction on music too. Iyamah on vocals for senses really blew us away and we hope people enjoy the music as much as we did making it!” My Nu Leng 2017
In 2016 we grew our high-energy club night into a true drum & bass celebration, Hospitality In The Park. The 10,000 strong party drew together DJs, fans, listeners, singers, live acts and MCs together to showcase every shade and style encompassing a 174 heartbeat. As the Finsbury Park fun continues and round two promising even bigger stage takeovers and a myriad of artist weaponry, we present an equally bursting drum & bass double disc, the ‘Hospitality In The Park 2017’ LP.
In the same vein as our all-day summer special, this huge 70 track mash-up spans across a full 360’ perspective of the genre; representing the established, up and coming, soulful, obscure, liquid, innovative, dark, techy, neuro, jungle style and everything in between.
Included are over 25 brand new exclusives from reputable drum & bass titans Danny Byrd, S.P.Y, Makoto and Keeno, there are VIPs from Metrik and Nu:Logic, remixes from Hugh Hardie, Total science, Camo & Krooked and Calibre, and a ‘Bullet Proof’ banger from Krakota.
Across two mixed CDs we’ve drawn for this year’s surefire summer weapons with Fred V & Grafix, The Prototypes, 1991, High Contrast, The Upbeats, Breakage in the mix. With this year’s Incubator stage pulling artists that are rising through the ranks, up and comers’ Whiney, Unglued, GLXY and Kyrist bring exciting new offerings to the compilation.
Both fans and artists came together from all over the globe last year and we expect no less in 2017. Equally, this compilation gives an international perspective covering all corners of the globe from Japan’s Mountain, the USA’s Flite and Ownglow, the Netherlands Black Sun Empire and New Zealand’s Shapeshifter.
Drum & bass is stronger than ever and it’s here to stay. See you at the park!

Camo & Krooked “Between The Lines” – Released 19.03.2012
Camo & Krooked return to the fore with “Between The Lines”; an immense fourteen-track remix album which takes their award-winning debut on Hospital “Cross The Line” to a whole new level fresh for 2012.Featuring remixes from such artists as: High Maintenance, BCee, InsideInfo, Submorphics, Metrik, Mind Vortex, Smooth, Sub Zero, Fred V & Grafix, Funtcase and Dead Battery, as well as some exclusive tracks from the boys themselves, the album draws on talent new and old and touches on a range of different sounds and styles for the ultimate remix package.
Amongst the selection we have the liquid, lilting atmospheric remix of “Afterlife” from BCee, the dark, tech-y twisted take on “Anubis” by InsideInfo and the deeper sounds of Submorphics’ “Change Me”. Alongside this is the gritty, jump up flavour of Sub Zero’s re-work of “Run Riot”, the magnificent distortions of Mind Vortex’s remix of “Cryptkeeper” and the exuberant, synth-screeching cacophony of Funtcase’s remix of “Hot Pursuit”. Fellow Hospital signings Fred V & Grafix take the torch and step up with a lush, twinkling take on “All Fall Down (feat. Shaz Sparks)”.
Original material from Camo & Krooked themselves includes “Dusk To Dawn”, “Further Away” and a savvy slower tempo re-work of “In The Future (feat. Jenna G and Futurebound)” which becomes “Lost In The Future”.
