The Pacific nation of Vanuatu has announced plans to ban disposable diapers in a move it says will significantly reduce pollution.

Snow closes highway near Los Angeles for hours

(15 Jan 2019) The California Highway Patrol has reopened a section of Interstate 5 north of Los Angeles that was closed for hours as a Pacific storm roared through the area. Ice and blowing snow stranded dozens of cars on Monday. (Jan. 15)
