Greenpeace launches anti-nuclear protest at delayed future plant | AFP

Environment activists Greenpeace demonstrate their opposition to the future Nuclear Power Plant (EPR) at Flamanville, off the coast of northern France, by tagging a banner saying: “EPR, le fiasco” (EPR, the fiasco) on the Rainbow Warrior III ahead of several operations on Friday. It sailed just off the coast of the future site to protest the plant’s treatment of nuclear waste as well as delays in the plant’s construction which means it may not be up and running until after 2022, over 10 years behind schedule.
