Watch the Full Length –

The United States is dealing with a major public health crisis. Over the last decade, heroin-related overdose deaths have nearly quadrupled.

The epicenter of this epidemic is New Hampshire, with the highest rate of young adults abusing opioids in the country. In this excerpt, VICE News joins a group therapy session at the Northern New Hampshire Correctional Facility, where inmates talk about their looming release dates and their biggest challenges in maintaining sobriety.
