Barnier: Brexit is “school of patience”

Barnier announces breakthrough in Brexit talks

The European Union chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier said Thursday that the EU and Britain had agreed on an outline Brexit deal which still needs to be backed by EU member states and by the respective parliaments.

“We have found an agreement with the British government on an orderly withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union and also on the framework for our future relationship,” Barnier said.
