Protests in Rotterdam after Turkish FM blocked from entering the country

Hundreds of people from Rotterdam’s Turkish community gathered in the city center, Saturday, to protest the decision from the Dutch government to block Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu from entering the country. A large number of riot police officers on foot and horseback were deployed to patrol the site around Turkish consulate after Cavusoglu’s planned rally at the location was canceled and the minister barred from flying into the country.

Ankara considers military ties with Russia as NATO shies away – Turkish FM
