DNA hints the Loch Ness ‘monster’ might be an eel

A scientist who scooped up DNA from Scotland’s Loch Ness is suggesting that the lake’s fabled monster might be a giant eel. He said Thursday that the project found a surprisingly high amount of eel DNA in the water. (Sept. 5)
