Moroccan teen in gang rape case urges other girls to be brave

Khadija, a Moroccan teenager allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped by men from her village calls on other girls “to be brave” after meeting with the judge investigating her case in Beni Mellal. Khadija’s viral video posted online in August — in which she shows horrific scars allegedly from cigarette burns and rudimentary tattoos carved into parts of her body which she says were done by members of a “dangerous gang” in her town that kidnapped and held her prisoner for two months, raping and torturing her — sparked a wave of solidarity on social media for the teenager.

Bring Them Home: 7yo girl helps track down two sisters in Iraqi orphanage shown in RT coverage

RT is continuing its campaign to find relatives of Russian speaking children, stranded in an Iraqi orphanage. ‘Bring them home’ is the call we are trying to spread internationally. Among those identified so far are sisters, 5 year old Khadija, and three year old Fatima. These youngsters had reportedly been taken to Iraq by their parents who joined Islamic State. The girls’ relatives in Russia recognized them in video we filmed in Baghdad just a few day ago.
