Russia’s Pacific Fleet carries out tactical missile firing drills

According to the Ministry of Defense, a missile attack on two floating target ships was launched using Vulkan, Granit, Malakhit and Oniks cruise missiles from the sea of Okhotsk and from the coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula.

The distance to the targets ranged from 250 to 500 kilometres (155 to 311 miles). All seven cruise missiles successfully hit their targets.

Russian sub successfully tests ICBM launch from Barents Sea

A Russian submarine has successfully launched a missile from the Barents Sea near Norway to a test site in the Kamchatka Peninsula in the Far East, the Russian Defense Ministry reports.
