The singer and songwriter has amassed an estimated $320 million net worth and owns at least $84 million in real estate across four states. Her “Reputation” stadium tour was the highest-grossing tour in the US, grossing $266.1 million. She’s also donated $113,000 to the Tennessee Equality Project, an LGBTQ advocacy group.

Harry Potter wand installation lights up London

Launched by the Grenadier Guards performing a live rendition of music from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, nine giant wands lit up Peter’s Hill in London for the first time as Fantastic Beasts: Wizarding World Wands supporting Lumos opens to the public. The new installation, part of the City of London Arts Initiative for public art, was created to help raise awareness for J.K. Rowling’s international children’s charity Lumos.

Blockbuster Harry Potter exhibition to open at British Library

A new exhibition, ‘Harry Potter, A History of Magic’, draws on the collections of the British Library as well as loans from J.K. Rowling and others to illustrate the real-life history of some of the magical legends and beliefs referenced in the hugely popular Harry Potter books. Over 40,000 people have already reserved tickets for the event at the British Library.
