Moment Iron Dome intercepts rockets fired from Gaza

Israel’s Iron Dome defence system was seen intercepting rockets coming from Gaza on Friday morning. The rocket fire from the ground came after Israeli warplanes attacked militant targets in the southern Gaza Strip early Friday. The Israeli action was in response to a rare rocket attack on Tel Aviv on Thursday night which caught the Israeli military off guard and marked the first time that Tel Aviv, some 80 kilometers (50 miles) north of Gaza, has been targeted since a 2014 war.

Israeli Military Says Shells Fired From Gaza

Gaza militants fired over 25 mortar shells toward communities in southern Israel Tuesday, the Israeli military said. No one was hurt. The military said the Iron Dome defense system intercepted most of the shells. (May 29)
