Hospital Records proudly present the next chapter in their massive compilation series, ’Sick Music 2019’. It’s packed with 25 brand new and exclusive tracks from Hospital and Med School surgeons alongside some very special guest features, all carefully selected as the future drum & bass anthems of 2019. This diverse selection of 174 beats comes from the likes of London Elektricity, Fred V, S.P.Y, Metrik, Grafix, Logistics, Whiney, Unglued, Benny L, Flava D, Bou, Pete Cannon, Gridlok and many more.

After the announcement of the dynamic duo’s decision to focus on individual projects, Fred V and Grafix present their first solo releases in almost a decade. Renowned for synth-driven symphonies and soothing songwriting, Fred V brings a high dose of octane electronica in the down tempo fix, ‘Burning Me’. Grafix has taken a fresh direction with ‘Frozen’ travelling down the rough and rugged techy route, ready to shatter dancefloors worldwide. Plus it’s about to be a big year for Hospital Records’ commander-in-chief London Elektricity as he returns from the studio a the dynamic funk-ladened D+B spectacular, ‘Funkopolis’.

Other highlights include Benny L’s re-rub of John Holt’s reggae hit ‘Police In Helicopter’, with a rugged bass to make the rave shake. The first lady of Bassline and UKG royalty Flava D also joins the fold for an exclusive first flex into the realms of D+B, the silky slick selection ’Return 2 Me’.

The latest rendition of our ‘Sick Music’ series also sees a string of all-star remixes with Whiney’s robust rework of Degs’ summer anthem ‘Poveglia’, Bop’s long awaited glitch-riddled remix of Anile’s ‘Allergens’ and S.P.Y’s ‘Dusty Fingers’ getting a special Metrik rework. ‘Sick Music 2019’ will be available as a 25-track digital download, 3 x CD (including 1 x Mixed CD) and a limited edition box-set, available exclusively from The Hospital Shop.

Included in this premium ‘Sick Music 2019’ lift-top box is a 4×12” vinyl pressing, which includes all 25 tracks in luxury printed spined sleeve inners, with a custom slipcase. A ‘Sick Music 2019’ 16GB USB, a ‘Sick Music 2019’ Tee and sticker set.

Kubatko – Playing Tricks (feat. Jo Joonghyun)

Buy or stream Sick Music 2018 here: https://HospitalRecords.lnk.to/SickMusic2018yc

After a six-year hiatus, everyone’s favourite Hospital compilation returns. Witness the sickness, this is drum & bass, this is ‘Sick Music 2018’.

With 24 brand new tracks, the series that brought the world early stories of Netsky, Wilkinson, Sigma and Fred V & Grafix is back. The heritage of this series speaks volumes, and ‘Sick Music 2018’ takes the quality to a whole new level. Filled to the brim with dangerous dubplates this full spectrum injection is a must have for each and every D+B devotee.

Hospital’s leading dancefloor duke Danny Byrd has taken things straight back to ’99 with ‘Devil’s Drop’. Firing on all cylinders he’s keeping it raw, rolling and funky. In a similarly devilish fashion we have ‘Bootstrap Bill’ finally unleashed by the enigmatic Unglued. Unashamedly destructive and executed with precision, this track is more dangerous than Donald Trump drunk on Twitter.

In a perfect fusion of Hospital and Med School, we see Fred V & Grafix’s ‘Hurricanes (Wild Love)’ re-worked with pristine precision by everyone’s favourite prodigy Keeno. Keeping the vibe level at eleven, Hugh Hardie’s delivered the gorgeous ‘Nightingale’, both seductively simple and oozing with elegance.

‘Just One Second’ by London Elektricity gets its first re-work since the late Apex’s famous remix on the very first Sick Music. The beautiful track see’s a sterling contemporary edit and is a testament to Mitekiss’ talent.

This album also brings the first solo single from the biggest name in D+B right now, Kings Of The Rollers. Fiercely pushing into new territory ‘Burnt Ends’ has been causing carnage on the dancefloor, getting double wheel-ups from across the globe.

Joining this rich tapestry of exemplary D+B are both veteran composers and new blood alike including: Klute, Whiney, Urbandawn, Reso, Logistics, John B, and of course Hospital Records’ commander-in-chief London Elektricity.

The release will be available across all formats but its grandest form will take that off the highly limited box set. Featuring a CD, the 4×12” plates, some box set only stickers and an exclusive T-shirt. One for the collectors, this is not a release to be overlooked.
