WikiLeaks editor-in-chief Kristinn Hrafnsson discusses Julian Assange’s “appalling” prison conditions, saying the Wikileaks founder is being held in solitary confinement at Belmarsh prison in southeast London. Hrafnsson was speaking outside a court on Thursday where Assange said he would oppose extradition to the United States as the legal process began, a day after he was jailed for breaching his bail conditions in a former case.
