Logistics – Rhythm Track

Buy or stream Logistics ‘Waveforms EP’ here:
https://Logistics.lnk.to/WaveformsEPyb

When he signed to Hospital Records in 2004 Logistics made his mark with classic EPs like ‘Space Jam’, ‘Release The Pressure’ and ‘Wide Lens’. Now the Hospital heavyweight and connoisseur of soulful drum & bass, presents his four-track ‘Waveforms’ EP. The first in a brand new series that takes it back to where it all began.

Opening the EP is the title-track ‘Waveforms’, a warm dose of the classic Logistics sound. Its big rolling basslines and uplifting vocals make this reminiscent of his anthemic tracks ‘Together’ and ‘Everlasting Days’.

Dipping into darker territory is ‘Ancestors’. Hypnotic, piercing sonics rattle around the body with steppy kicks to boot. On a similar wavelength comes ‘Rhythm Track’ – a 2019 tint on the original jungle roots. These two tracks are indisputable evidence that Logistics knows his way around the rougher side of D+B, as well as his smooth liquid melodies. Coming full circle is ‘Oslo’ with graceful harmonics and soothing instrumentation.

With nine studio albums and an impressive back-catalogue of singles and EPs under his belt, Logistics has become one of the most prolific artists in drum & bass. He’s garnered support from the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac and Rene LaVice, as well as 6Music’s Mary Anne Hobbs.

He’s one of the most well-respected producers and DJs in the scene and this year he’ll be heading to flagship drum & bass events such as the all-day festival Hospitality In The Park in London, on the shores of Sardinia for Sun & Bass, ADE and many more around the globe.

‘Waveforms’ will be available across 12” heavyweight black vinyl and across all major digital and streaming platforms.

Grafix – Photons

Buy or stream ‘Grafix – Refuge EP’ here: https://grafix.lnk.to/RefugeEPyb

Grafix finally unveils his new sound to the world on his remarkable ‘Refuge’ EP – his first solo release in almost ten years since departing from his long-term collaborative outfit. Delve into his new found inspiration across four tracks that explore the world of underground dancefloor drum & bass.

The acid-techno inspired ‘Acid Generation’ calls back to the sound of rave counterculture through the late 80s, with a rapid-fire relay of metallic stabs that pack enough punch to surge through any concrete jungle.

Original Grafix fans will relish in the power-chords and big leads of ‘Refuge’, that feature the addictive vocals of Bristol’s Ruth Royall. ‘Photons’ is a welcomed switch-up, bringing in Grafix’s love of house and garage with stabbing percussions and ethereal synths. As ‘Rain Fall Down’ calls out Grafix has his new musical vision clear in sight.

As a duo, Grafix has previously released three albums with Hospital Records that included the huge drum & bass anthems ‘Major Happy’, ‘Forest Fires’, ‘Ultraviolet’, ‘Tension’ and many more. He’s had radio support from the likes of Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, MistaJam, Rene LaVice, as well as club support from the biggest in the game.

He’s previously toured the globe and this summer he continues to take dancefloors by storm with sets at Glastonbury, Liquicity Festival, Hospitality On The Beach, Boardmasters and more.

Hugh Hardie – Tomorrow’s Sun (feat. Robert Manos)

Buy or Stream ‘Shadows & Silhouettes’ here: https://HughHardie.lnk.to/Shadowsyc

After a two year hiatus, Bristol-based Hugh Hardie returns with 13-stunning tracks on his second studio album, ‘Shadows & Silhouettes’. After the success of the ‘Colourspace’ LP, he’s continued to develop his drum & bass style, producing a plethora of beautiful summer liquid, slick drumfunk and smooth down-tempo beats. He’s teamed up with the high-rising talents Pola & Bryson, Silence Groove and Unglued, as well as singer-songwriters Emer Dineen, Cimone, Robert Manos and Charlie Brix.

Kicking things off is a glistening dose of summer soul, ‘Raindrops’ featuring London-based singer/songwriter Cimone. Calling back to the Hospital loungecore sound, this stunning liquid roller brings untold levels of elegancy with soothing piano and that feel-good flavour Hugh Hardie is loved for.

Another shade of Hugh Hardie’s latest musical design is ‘Resistance’. An unlikely pairing with Hospital’s young wildcard Unglued but this drum-heavy dancefloor monster has all the stand-out trimmings of a jungle banger with skittering synths and warped vocal cuts.

Back down the path of soul-filled drum & bass is ‘Endless’ featuring Emer Dineen, a voice recognised for her many features on London Elektricity’s own productions. Plus there’s ‘Negomi’, with its funky bassline riff and east-asian inspired string work.

In addition to an impressive array of solo D+B productions, ‘Shadows & Silhouettes’ also sees a special feature from Shogun Audio’s Pola & Bryson on ‘Siren’. Together they’ve created a real stand out moment of the album with this captivating garage / breaks 130BPM road trip.

Available across digital and streaming platforms, CD, and 2×12” transparent hot-fuschia and ocean-blue coloured vinyl, with artwork design from fellow Cambridge turned Bristol-based artist, Mr Penfold.
