RT and journalist Anton Krasovsky present ‘Epidemic’, a documentary series about the spread of HIV/AIDS in Russia. This episode is about children diagnosed with HIV.
We followed the scandalous story from Nizhny Novgorod, where the local camp site refused to accept HIV-positive children, and talked with those who were behind this decision.
Then we went to the first orphanage in Russia in Chelyabinsk, where pupils with positive and negative HIV status live under the same roof.
This is a story about adults who are afraid of children, and about children who are sometimes braver than many adults.
