Mohammed, a displaced teacher from Karnaz, on the northern outskirts of Hama, has been teaching children for the past three months under an olive tree at a camp for Internally displaced people (IDP) where he is taking shelter in Atme near the Syria-Turkey border.

Syria: rebels target regime forces with missiles

Turkey-backed rebel fighters from the National Front for Liberation, a Syrian rebel coalition part of the Free Syrian Army, launch missiles on regime forces in the north of the Hama province. Rebel-held northern Syria has come under increasing fire by the regime and its ally Russia in recent weeks, despite a months-old buffer zone deal intended to shield it from any government offensive.
