Jordanian book-lover travels capital with mobile bookshop

Every day, Ghaith Bahdousheh sets up more than 400 books in various languages on his old Mercedes 200 nicknamed Nancy, and travels all over the Jordanian capital to sell books and encourage people to read. Thanks to the ‘Books on the Road’ project, which he initiated in 2016, the 27-year-old bookworm was able to finance his dream: opening the very first bookshop of his small hometown, Madaba.
