RAW: Palestinians clash with IDF forces along Gaza border

At least 48 Palestinians were wounded during clashes with IDF along the eastern Gaza Strip on Friday, according to the Gazan health ministry.

Demonstrators waved Palestinian flags and threw stones at soldiers, who responded with live fire, rubber bullets and tear gas canisters.

A reported 6,500 Palestinians took part in ‘Great March of Return’, a weekly protest which started in March last year. The movement demands the right for Palestinians to return to their families’ pre-1948 homes.

Palestinians take down 2 IDF drones with ‘high-tech weaponry’ rocks and slingshots

Palestinian protesters near the Gaza border apparently managed to bring down 2 IDF drones using rocks and a slingshots.

IDF spokesman Jonathan Conricus later confirmed two drones belong to the IDF fell on the Gazan side ‘due to a technical malfunction’.
