Roses, candles as tribute to Frenchwoman killed by American husband | AFP

Candles and roses are placed above a plank covering a drain in Peyriac-de-Mer, a village south of Narbonne, where the body of a French teacher living in Indonesia was found. She died from “stab wounds” and her husband, an American citizen, was arrested in extremis in the boarding area of Toulouse airport. He later confessed, was indicted for “aggravated murder” and placed in pre-trial detention.
