Landscapers – Orientation

Super fast paced and aggressive track from everyone’s favourite French prodigy, Landscapers! From the single on Ammunition titled “Palenque” (2011).

Weapons Grade is a channel for uploading only the most forward thinking and stomping underground Neurofunk. I will try my best to promote only the truly under-appreciated tunes that go lesser heard. Uploads will probably be daily, or possibly even more frequently. Every track featured here has been purchased from the respective label, and is in 320 kbps (MP3) quality before upload. All artwork in every video is from http://www.wallhaven.cc/ unless otherwise stated! I won’t feature any track on this channel that isn’t advanced Neurofunk and I will never monetize a video. This channel is purely for your entertainment and discovery, and for my hobby. I hope you guys enjoy thoroughly!

If there is a problem with any of the tracks uploaded, please consult at me at my email (found on my channel under “For business enquiries”). I will take necessary measures to make content owners satisfied with the state of their track, whether it be on the channel or not. If you wish to submit a track for possible upload, please send it to me via the same email.

Landscapers – Get Closer

Now THIS is Neurofunk. Gritty and punchy drums, a disturbing bassline that rattles your brain, and some hot innuendo. It doesn’t get TOO much better than this track right here. Superb production and groove from the lone French ranger, Landscapers. I adore this man’s work – expect to hear a lot of stuff on this channel if you are a subscriber or you just frequent my videos. From the single “Get Closer / Foo Fight” (2014) on Dissected Culture.

Intolerance After The Violence: Paris Gun Attack (Dispatch 4)

Terrorism has aggravated anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, and social segregation across France. VICE News correspondent Milène Larsson travelled to Paris to see how the attacks on the offices of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo and a kosher supermarket in early January have impacted its disparate communities.

Larsson meets the French branch of controversial political organization Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamization of the West (PEGIDA), which has gained support across Europe on the back of its anti-Islamization rhetoric. She also visits a Jewish school in Paris under heavy security, and speaks to activists from Muslim Students of France about the stigmatization of young muslims. Finally, she travels to the Paris suburb Villiers-sur-Marne — where a girlfriend of one of the attackers once lived — to find out what pushes young people towards radicalization.

The Human Cost of War in the Central African Republic

In 2013, a Muslim rebel group named the Seleka led a coup in the Central African Republic (CAR), overthrowing the Christian President Francois Bozize and bringing the country into an ethno-religious civil war. Later that year, VICE News traveled to the CAR to cover the conflict which has left over 5,000 dead and nearly a million displaced.

Due to the combination of the upcoming February presidential election, the looming exit of French peacekeeping forces, and the total handover to the MINUSCA United Nations troops, the situation in the CAR is extremely fragile. With the conflict entering its third year, questions remain about how to quell the violence, which the UN describes as “The Silent Crisis.”

VICE News returned to the CAR in 2014 to further document the ongoing conflict and to meet those living through the prevailing chaos.

Producer’s Note: This documentary was filmed in July and August 2014 in the Central African Republic (CAR). An earlier version of the documentary cited statistics regarding internally displaced people (IDPs) in CAR — namely that 100,000 IDPs are living in a camp near the M’Poko International Airport.

According to a January 2015 report by The Assessment Capacities Project (ACAPS) regarding IDPs in CAR, these figures have become outdated. They have been removed from this version of the documentary. Approximately 20,000 IDPs are currently living in the camp, according to the ACAPS report.

Signs – Headbolt [Project 51]

Buy it here ► http://www.beatport.com/release/headbolt-codetalk/1444292

Gridlok’s mighty US-based ‘Project 51’ imprint is back, and this time delivering the goods from an unmistakably rapidly rising force in the DnB scene – the French trio ‘SIGNS’. From their inception in 2014, Signs quickly gained momentum with releases on Optiv’s ‘Red Light Recordings’, C4C Recordings and Bad Taste Recordings. 2015 is picking up the pace in an altogether more intense way, with ‘Code Talk’ and ‘Headbolt’ being the first in a series of releases scheduled for Signs on imprints ranging from Eatbrain, Pirahna Pool and some even tastier surprises yet to be announced.

‘Headbolt’ is a cheeky amorphous creature built around a hook constructed in parts both equally oldschool and future. Signs go in heavy on the micro-production here with flurries of edits swarming around the central percussive synth that ravers will treat as a beacon of the track’s innate funk. The texturally beautiful breakdown shows sensitivity towards space and form, effectively launching the track back into the ring for a 2nd energetic round of pummelling.
