Grafix – Refuge (feat. Ruth Royall)

Buy or Stream ‘Refuge EP’ here: https://grafix.lnk.to/RefugeEPyb

Grafix finally unveils his new sound to the world on his remarkable ‘Refuge’ EP – his first solo release in almost ten years since departing from his long-term collaborative outfit. Delve into his new found inspiration across four tracks that explore the world of underground dancefloor drum & bass.

The acid-techno inspired ‘Acid Generation’ calls back to the sound of rave counterculture through the late 80s, with a rapid-fire relay of metallic stabs that pack enough punch to surge through any concrete jungle.

Original Grafix fans will relish in the power-chords and big leads of ‘Refuge’, that feature the addictive vocals of Bristol’s Ruth Royall. ‘Photons’ is a welcomed switch-up, bringing in Grafix’s love of house and garage with stabbing percussions and ethereal synths. As ‘Rain Fall Down’ calls out Grafix has his new musical vision clear in sight.

As a duo, Grafix has previously released three albums with Hospital Records that included the huge drum & bass anthems ‘Major Happy’, ‘Forest Fires’, ‘Ultraviolet’, ‘Tension’ and many more. He’s had radio support from the likes of Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, MistaJam, Rene LaVice, as well as club support from the biggest in the game.

He’s previously toured the globe and this summer he continues to take dancefloors by storm with sets at Glastonbury, Liquicity Festival, Hospitality On The Beach, Boardmasters and more.

Fred V & Grafix – Clouds Cross Skies (Urbandawn Remix)

iTunes: http://hospi.tl/15unrecognisable
Hospital Shop: http://hospi.tl/6unrecognisable

Fred V & Grafix, together with the help of Hospital’s A&R hit squad have stylishly curated a collection of d+b talent to re-work tracks from their critically acclaimed debut album, which was released earlier this year.

Featuring the Fred V vocalled single ‘Recognise’, as well as the Radio One playlisted ‘Forest Fires (feat Etherwood), the album ‘Recognise’ was nominated for ‘Album of the Year’ at the Independent Music Awards – alongside the likes of London Grammar and The Arctic Monkeys.

Eschewing obvious names in favour of cutting-edge artists who are already shaping the future of the genre. The likes of Etherwood, Keeno, Chords and Fredric Robinson represent a new generation, bringing a fresh injection of musical genius to d+b.

On top of the twelve remixes Fred V & Grafix also present one brand new track in the shape of ‘3-D Glasses’. The first new material from the boys since February, it’s a slice of warping triplet time d+b that mines a the current vogue of classical influenced dance music.

Since the albums release Fred V & Grafix have been touring the globe nonstop, playing gigs and festivals from Glastonbury to LA. Finding time in between gigs to turn in remixes for the likes of MNEK, Second City, Netsky and Hybrid.

Hospitality Midsummer BBQ – 21st June 2014

Buy Brixton Tickets Here: http://hospi.tl/21brixton2014

As you may know, last Saturday saw the first ever Hospitality Midsummer BBQ @ Studio 338, London. It absolutely went off from start to finish with scorching sunshine and perfect summer vibes.

Both Tony and Carlos S.P.Y described it as the best UK gig they have ever played! Much love to everyone who attended.

See you at Brixton!

Following the successful release of their debut album “Recognise” in March, the Devonshire duo follow up with the second single from their album. “Forest Fires” is set to be the anthem of the summer, featuring vocals from Med School’s Etherwood.

“Forest Fires” has been BBC Radio One’s “track of the day” and made the Radio One playlist after receiving extensive backing from Zane Lowe, Fearne Cotton and Annie Mac.

“An ambitious and consummate development of the sound they have become know for, built on a solid foundation of D&B beats. The album combines their love for live music, weighty sub bass and creative collaborations with newschool vocalists and producers.”
