An England football fan apologised for vandalizing a monument to former USSR player Fedor Cherenkov, in Moscow on Wednesday. The man, identified as 20yo Rufus Hall, wrote the word ‘England’ in red letters on the statue before Tuesday’s match between England & Colombia at Moscow’s Spartak Stadium.
