A Baghdad orphanage has two newcomers – Hadidja and Fatima, abandoned by their parents who fought for ISIS. Those children are among dozens RT is trying to reconnect with their families back in Russia.

Bring Them Home: 7yo girl helps track down two sisters in Iraqi orphanage shown in RT coverage

RT is continuing its campaign to find relatives of Russian speaking children, stranded in an Iraqi orphanage. ‘Bring them home’ is the call we are trying to spread internationally. Among those identified so far are sisters, 5 year old Khadija, and three year old Fatima. These youngsters had reportedly been taken to Iraq by their parents who joined Islamic State. The girls’ relatives in Russia recognized them in video we filmed in Baghdad just a few day ago.
