Three bear cubs which were recently found in an abandoned den in the Kemerovo region’s Siberian taiga are now being taken care of by a local resident.
The cubs had reportedly stayed in the den for three days before being discovered by a group of lumberjacks who took the cubs back to their camp where they fed the animals for about a week.
The bears were later handed over to Kemerovo region’s Department of Environmental Protection. The department’s senior inspector Eduard Gegel is at the moment taking care of the cubs at his house, until a permanent home is found.
