Keiser Report: ZIRP, Then NIRP in 2019 (E1328)

Check Keiser Report website for more: http://www.maxkeiser.com/

In this third of three New Year’s specials of the Keiser Report, Max and Stacy make predictions for 2019: In terms of the US domestic politics, it will be the year of the great scramble to become the Democratic nominee to run against Donald Trump in 2020. They ponder whether or not Hillary will run again and whether or not #Medicare4All will be the biggest issue on the left. They also discuss the opioid epidemic and whether or not those ‘deaths of despair’ will finally slow down. In the second half, Max interviews guests for their 2019 predictions: Mitch Feierstein predicts ZIRP (zero interest rates policy), then NIRP (negative interest rates policy) as corporate debt and the EU implode and the yuan is devalued. Dan Collins of TheChinaMoneyReport.com predicts 2019 can possibly, at long last, be the year in which the Chinese economy actually does fall apart. Many big names in finance have predicted it over the past decade, but Dan thinks the corporate and household debt may finally catch up with the economy. Will the Chinese government force the zombie corporations and banks to die? Or will they prop them up as Japan chose to do? And what is in store for the Belt and Road Initiative and the trade war it has inspired with the US?

Nu:Logic – Sun Goes Down

Buy ‘Sun Goes Down’ – https://NuLogic.lnk.to/SomewhereBetweenTheLightsk

The Nu:Logic duo return with their combined genius to present a second full-length collaborative effort ‘Somewhere Between The Light’. As two pioneers of the signature Hospital sound, brothers Nu:Tone and Logistics have become influencers and tastemakers in the genre with a deep back-catalogue of smooth, soulful, liquid drum & bass. This 13-track long player soars through the same ethereal movements with a welcomed dip into new territory.

Separately and together these two continue on paths to success, with younger brother Logistics reaching BBC Radio 1’s playlist last year following his sixth studio album ‘Electric Sun’. For the last three years Dan Nu:Tone has become a crucial member of the Hospital A+R team, having an influential role in the progression of both up and coming artists and longstanding members of the family. Their DJ dates continue to take them across the globe with sets promised at the 2017 editions of Standon Calling, Mysteryland, Made Festival and the drum & bass baller Hospitality In The Park.

Nu:Logic is a collaborative partnership between Hospital signings Nu:Tone and Logistics. The two brothers, Dan and Matt Gresham, first joined forces under this new alias in the mid noughties, with the first Nu:Logic release “On & On” appearing on Hospital in 2004. The project went on the back burner until 2010 when they released their “New Technique” EP to great critical acclaim.

The pair combine the music that they love – music with soul, atmosphere, tension and groove – together into one melting pot of sound. Whilst growing up they were exposed to the same music, but quickly found their tastes diverging. However now they are older, these have moved closer together again and at the core is a shared love of artists such as DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, MoWax, Full Cycle, Heaz, No U Turn, Jazzanova and Calibre.

With nine individual albums between them and their debut Nu:Logic album “What I’ve Always Waited For” released in 2013 which has been making waves in the D&B scene and beyond, it is now time for their new album “Somewhere Between The Light” which is due out in June this year.

Buy tickets on UKF: http://bit.ly/SNB-UKF2 // Buy tickets on RA: http://bit.ly/SNB-RA2

Released 6th February 2017.

“Our first release of 2017 sees the welcome return of Soulvent faithful and long time friend, Daniel Van Mourik – better known as Arch Origin. Dan caught our attention over the past few years with tracks like City By Night and Mesmerize, and it’s clear to see the producers’ progression; as he landed his first release on the legendary d&b imprint Hospital Records last year.

His Value Shift EP is a 6-track journey through his ever-emerging sound, as well as encapsulating some important social observations for the millennial generation. This offering should surely satiate any budding drum and bass fan, who’s been waiting for an Arch Origin release! ‘Recluse ft. Mr. Porter’ kicks off with melancholic, airy tones – perfectly matched by Mr. Porter’s wistful, hauntingly processed vocals.”

With an already impressive discography, containing up-tempo revamps of singles from Lady Gaga to Paloma Faith, DC Breaks are back again on remix duties. This time, however it’s for Spinnin’ Records, an electronic music pioneer and one who handpicked the production duo for a drum & bass makeover of Eelke Kleijn’s ‘Mistakes’.

Dan and Chris bring their signature driving bassline to the original, whilst cleverly paying tribute to its nerve-twitching dancefloor appeal. Perfectly blending their craft and creating a 170bpm switch up, it demonstrates why DC Breaks have such a widespread commercial appeal, whilst dominating clubs in the UK’s most notorious corners.

Having smashed the Beatport D&B chart with over 40 releases to date, especially with their most recent vocal roller ‘Faithless’, a debut album is just on the horizon. And first single ‘Faithless’ from the forthcoming LP has already secured support from across the radio airwaves, with tastemakers Annie Mac, Target, Annie Nightingale, Eddy TM, Wideboys and Charlie Tee all getting behind their most recent output.

Although, what else could you expect from a team championed by revered label head Andy C? ‘Faithless’ became an integral part of his sets worldwide; from the packed out stages of Miami’s Ultra, to the sold out shows at Brixton’s 02 Academy. ‘Faithless’ has already showed the causing bass-induced chaos it’s caused in the scene’s hottest spots.

But this is only the beginning. With headline slots across some of the biggest European festivals, including Dour, SW4 (with even more to be announced), this is all shaping up to be a highly illustrious year for DC Breaks.

Logistics – As Sure As Sunrise (feat. Hugh Hardie) [OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO]

Buy “Polyphony” from iTunes: http://hospi.tl/polyphony44?app=itunes or the Hospital Shop: http://hospi.tl/polyphony43

Big summer vibes in the new Logistics video for “As Sure As Sunrise” featuring Hugh Hardie.

His first release since 2012’s ‘Fear Not’, the man behind some of d+b’s biggest anthems returns with his brand new long player. Having spent the last two years collaborating with big brother Dan Nu:Tone on the Nu:Logic project, Logistics takes solo control of the studio set up once more to unleash his latest monsters.

A return to the classic Hospital sound which Logistics has helped shape; uplifting piano chords, euphoric basslines and sublime vocal chops abound, alongside acoustic guitars and luscious strings. Collaborators on this project include new talents Hugh Hardie and Maduk, veteran producer Sonic, vocalists Will Robert and Lifford, and of course brother Dan Nu:Tone.

An album of organic, dnb soul, as Hospital hits its 18th year in business Logistics brings us a reminder of his well renowned talent with an added sense of maturity in his production.

Logistics – Seasons (feat. Lifford)

Buy iTunes: http://hospi.tl/polyphony27
Hospital Shop: http://hospi.tl/polyphony26

An album of organic, d+b soul, as Hospital hits its 18th year in business Logistics brings us a reminder of his well renowned talent with an added sense of maturity in his production.
