Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes early on Thursday near Damascus, wounding eight soldiers, Syrian state media said. Also Thursday, the Israeli military says a Palestinian driver rammed his car into Israeli soldiers in Jerusalem, hurting 12. (Feb. 6)
