During his campaign, President Trump repeatedly promised to repeal Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Obama’s signature immigration reform act.
DACA gives temporary status to so-called “DREAMERS,” undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children, granting them protection from deportation and the legal right to work.
Since the election, President Trump has backtracked about repealing DACA but has remained vague about what his plans are. VICE News explores how some DACA recipients are responding to President Trump.
