Northern California is still under threat from close to two dozen fast-moving wildfires that have killed more than 20 people, destroyed more than 3,500 buildings and burned close to 170,000 acres. Firefighters fear that strong winds may merge the scattered fires.
Corinna Fernandez is one of 20,000 people who have evacuated their homes. On Tuesday, Fernandez visited her parent’s home in Coffey Park, a neighborhood of Santa Rosa, to find her family’s belongings had turned to ashes.
