We have schedules. That’s a big step toward having a season. Whether college football gets there is still up in the air, but we have schedules and games set to be played so it’s time to start to preview the season _ and hoping for the best.

The Atlantic Coast Conference and Pac-12 are up first. Jon Wilner from the San Jose Mercury News joins AP’s Ralph Russo to take a look at the Pac-12. There is uncertainty just about everywhere, from Oregon to Utah. David Hale from ESPN takes on the ACC, where Notre Dame is now a member and the race is really for No. 2 behind Clemson.

Projections: Numbers vs. Humans | AP Top 25 Podcast | Associated Press

It’s never too early to have a Top 25 for next season. Plenty of those have been circulating since the day after LSU beat Clemson to win the national title. ESPN’s Bill Connelly chimed in with his SP+ preseason projections for 2020 in February. Connelly joins the AP’s Ralph Russo to compare and contrast where the human opinions and his numbers diverge.

SP+ is embracing some traditional powers this year like Texas and Nebraska that it was skeptical about last season _ when the humans were hyping up the Longhorns and Cornhuskers. Meanwhile, SP+ sees some regression on the way for several teams _ like both of the state of Iowa’s FBS schools _ that the humans are giving a fair amount of preseason love.

This car has personality. This is the “Deep Orange 7.” It’s a fully-functional concept that was created by students at Clemson University. They were challenged to create a concept car That reflects BMW’s MINI brand. Clemson partnered with ArtCenter College of Design on styling. The windshield is massive and can be lifted from the front. It has a very unique storage system because there is a storage area in the front where you can show off your favorite items like outdoor gear, yoga equipment, or gardening tools. Customers would be able to choose between different engine options including combustion, hybrid, and electric. A personal assistant comes in the form of a hologram. Would you drive a Deep Orange?
