Computerartist – Full Cycle

If you haven’t already heard of Computerartist, he is a Czech Neurofunk producer with absolutely no boundaries. Every single track from this man is a complete package of close to flawless production and genius melodies and groove. “Full Cycle” is by far my favourite Computerartist tune, despite its oldness. It is also worth mentioning that Computerartist has since been releasing on platforms like Eatbrain and Citrus. From the single “Disorder” (2011) on Ammunition.

Weapons Grade is a channel for uploading only the most forward thinking and stomping underground Neurofunk. I will try my best to promote only the truly under-appreciated tunes that go lesser heard. Uploads will probably be daily, or possibly even more frequently. Every track featured here has been purchased from the respective label, and is in 320 kbps (MP3) quality before upload. All artwork in every video is from http://www.wallhaven.cc/ unless otherwise stated! I won’t feature any track on this channel that isn’t advanced Neurofunk and I will never monetize a video. This channel is purely for your entertainment and discovery, and for my hobby. I hope you guys enjoy thoroughly!

If there is a problem with any of the tracks uploaded, please consult at me at my email (found on my channel under “For business enquiries”). I will take necessary measures to make content owners satisfied with the state of their track, whether it be on the channel or not. If you wish to submit a track for possible upload, please send it to me via the same email.

Trilo – Enterprise [Renegade Hardware]

Here’s something we missed this summer, we thought it deserved to get more attention, serious groove from Trilo !

Released 8th Sept 2014
Order Here: http://bit.ly/hware32

Renegade Hardware are proud to announce the first solo single by new signing Trilo. Having been introduced earlier this year via the Compound One EP and follow up feature on the the collaborative Multiverse EP, his first solo release for the institution comes in the form of three tracks: Enterprise, Prozac and Baracks.

Combining dark atmospherics with, ripping, deformed and ultimately brutally effective bassline science, with punchy, dancefloor ready drums, Trilo – who has previously appeared on notable labels such as Disturbed, Citrus, Syndrome Audio, Fokus and more – is a producer that is set to take dark atmospheric rolling DnB to the next level.

Enterprise kicks things off with a highly visual, dark ambient build up with shards of evil bass signalling the carnage that is soon to follow. Utilising a punchy, rolling old school 2-step beat to frame the shadowy atmospheric mastery and the hefty, sub laden, hyperactive, mutant reese baseline.

Trilo utilises production techniques from outside of drum and bass; the ambient builds of abstract electronica, the bassline craft of neurofunk and dubstep on top of electro synth lines and a classical music approach to both melody and harmony singling this talented producer out as one to watch and a sonic auteur par excellence.

TR Tactics – Time Slice [Addictive Behaviour]

TR Tactics, the producer and DJ duo from Austria, have been storming up a lot of people’s lists of artists to watch in 2014. After releases on Citrus, Disturbed and Dissected Culture, they drop ABREC07 on Addictive Behaviour, their latest and greatest work to date.

Addictive are one of the most forward thinking labels out there, always allowing the talent and dedication of their artists to shine through, and Time Slice/Cone is no exception. After their success in the D&B Arena remix competition, and a series of amazing releases, the duo are definitely on the rise.

Time Slice starts off as a dark, ominous roller, full of atmosphere and deep level vibes. The beats drop in when you least expect them, charging head long into some very dangerous territory. Switching electronics accompany the drop, where forceful bass comes right at you, shaking the ground with its intensity. A real builder, the amazing lengths the producers have gone to are realised in full when you give this one your full attention. Feel the power of Time Slice as it unfolds around you, reminding you how all of the buzz about TR Tactics is perfectly justified. A seriously essential piece of music.

Trilo – Barracks

Released 8th Sept 2014

Renegade Hardware are proud to announce the first solo single by new signing Trilo. Having been introduced earlier this year via the Compound One EP and follow up feature on the the collaborative Multiverse EP, his first solo release for the institution comes in the form of three tracks: Enterprise, Prozac and Baracks.

To complete the release; Baracks begins with a twisted, organic tinged melody, splashy hats, and a dark emotive harmony. Leading into a drop that makes a highly inventive use of dubstep-esque micro edits to create a bass groove where the tiny moments of silence contained within it almost contain as much forward motion and flux as the actual multi-layered, synth tones used to build the enormous sound in the first place.

Trilo – Prozac

Having been introduced earlier this year via the Compound One EP and follow up feature on the the collaborative Multiverse EP, his first solo release for the institution comes in the form of three tracks: Enterprise, Prozac and Baracks.

The track Prozac, see’s Trilo take a slightly deeper approach to his compositions. Cavernous dubwise stabs combine with his unique shadow laden, cinematic soundscapes to great effect, before the tune launches like a full frontal military assault, into emotion tinged screw faced madness. Stomping enough for the ravers and detailed enough for armchair warriors alike. A slick take on how far you can push the DnB framework whilst still retaining enough clarity and punch for it to work on the dancefloor. Reminiscent of early Corrupt Souls & Stakka & Skynet.
