In what was “the biggest challenge of (their) lives”, in February 2020, Austrian drum & bass duo Camo & Krooked collaborated with the legendary composer Christian Kolonovits to mix electronic music with symphonic sounds and perform live with a 74-piece orchestra. After several months of dedication the result was ‘Red Bull Symphonic’, premiered with two exclusive shows in an even more exclusive location, Vienna’s Wiener Konzerthaus, a first-choice venue for the world’s leading classical composers.

Needless to say, the result was spectacular and now alongside Red Bull’s documentary of the project, Hospital Records are releasing the full showcase as a 22-track live album Featuring the pair’s biggest and best-loved hits all performed by the 74-piece orchestra, this is a drum & bass album like you’ve never heard before. Hailing from Austria, Camo & Krooked have dominated the global drum & bass scene since signing to Hospital Records in 2010. These soundwave scientists can normally be found touring across the world bringing their unique DJ sets to adoring crowds.

Camo & Krooked (feat. Jeru The Damaja) (Official Performance Video)

Buy or Stream ‘Set It Off’ here: https://CamoAndKrooked.lnk.to/SetItOffyc

“With ‘Set It Off’ we wanted to create a hybrid between 90s hip-hop and forward-thinking D+B. Having Jeru The Damaja rap on our tune is a big honour, as he is one of the founding fathers of this era, working with Guru and DJ Premier of Gang Starr, and a personal youth hero.” – Camo & Krooked

After the effects of their Haitian weapon ‘Loa’ and recent heavyweight collaboration with Mefjus ‘Kallisto’, Hospital Records’ architects of the anti-drop, Camo & Krooked unleash their huge hip-hop meets drum & bass hybrid, ‘Set It Off’ with the lyrical mastery of hip-hop legend Jeru The Damaja.

On Camo & Krooked’s third release since returning home to Hospital Records, their sharp production is packed tightly with lashings of hip-hop beats and vocal hooks that crescendo into their famous stripped back anti-drop.

Hailing from Austria, Camo & Krooked have dominated the global drum & bass scene since signing to Hospital Records in 2010. These soundwave scientists can be found across the world in the coming months bringing their unique DJ sets to The Netherlands, Estonia, Poland, Australia, New Zealand and London for Hospitality Returns to The Dock in 2020.

Camo & Krooked & Mefjus – Kallisto

Buy or stream ‘Camo & Krooked & Mefjus – Kallisto’ here:
https://CamoAndKrooked.lnk.to/Kallistoyb

After announcing their return to Hospital Records, and the release of their Haitian dancefloor weapon ‘Loa’, drum & bass goliaths Camo & Krooked keep their foot firmly on the gas with the release of ‘Kallisto’ – an exciting collaboration with neurofunk titan, Mefjus.

Plunge into a melting pot of first-class sonics, with influences from across the spectrum of electronic music. Hair-raising atmospherics, electro-grizzle and just the right amount of glitch, see the incredible talent of Camo & Krooked and Mefjus unify for a track of pure slickness.

“Kallisto is the perfect example of the musical and sonic middle ground between both Mefjus and us. When we get in the studio together, the blending of our sounds feels really natural to us.” – Camo & Krooked

These soundwave surgeons can be found dishing out their latest creations all across Europe this summer in Austria, UK, The Czech Republic, Belgium and Switzerland at festivals such as Hospitality In The Park 2019, Let It Roll 2019, and more.

Bensley – ‘Trillium’

Acclaimed Canadian musician Bensley releases his eagerly awaited sophomore album ‘Muskoka’, featuring twelve scintillating cuts that demonstrate why he is one of the most original and exciting talents in Drum & Bass.

With ‘Muskoka’, Bensley takes the listener on an exciting, immersive journey and draws upon his varied musical talents, dropping elements of jazz (as on ‘Hard Times’ and ‘One Last Chance – Remix’ which feature Bensley’s impressive alto-saxophone playing), hip-hop (‘Do It Again’ ft. Armanni Reign), plus breaks and jungle (‘Muskoka’ which incorporates clever samples to evoke sounds of animals and birdlife). This creates an unforgettable album which is as vibrant and awe-inspiring as the landscape and nature of the part of Canada which has inspired its namesake, Muskoka.

On ‘Muskoka’ Bensley says: “‘Muskoka’ is a body of work comprised primarily of music that I wrote while at my family’s lakeside cottage in Muskoka, Ontario. This is a place where I’ve spent every summer for as long as I can remember, and that has hugely shaped the person I am today. The breath-taking wildlife, forests and lakes provide an endless source of inspiration and make Muskoka not only my favourite place to write music, but my favourite place to be.”

Bensley’s ground-breaking 2015 debut album ‘Next Generation’ won him widespread acclaim, including from Zane Lowe, MistaJam, Friction, Zeds Dead and DJ Fresh. This debut was followed by celebrated singles ‘Outsider’, ‘Tiptoe’, and ‘Slither’, plus official remixes for the likes of Flux Pavilion, Azari & III, and Camo & Krooked.
