Saudi Arabia’s Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) announces the birth of two Arabian leopard cubs, as it starts a breeding programme to help preserve and eventually reintroduce the critically endangered big cat subspecies back into the wild in the north-west of the country.

Qatar has unveiled plans for a new massive soccer stadium for its turn as World Cup host in 2022.

The arena, which will be built in the capital city of Doha, is designed to look like a traditional Arabian skull cap.

Qatar is pushing ahead with construction despite the sanctions imposed on the country by four of its Arab neighbors: Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates.

These countries accused the United States ally of supporting terrorism — a charge Qatar has denied.

US President Donald Trump was spotted enjoying himself with dancers in a traditional Saudi sword ‘Ardha’ performance, Saturday, on his first overseas visit as president to Riyadh. Earlier in the day, Trump was decorated with the kingdom’s top civilian honour after a warm reception by Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Saudi royal family.
