Letters from Anne Frank’s father donated to museum

A Massachusetts man who was pen pals with Anne Frank’s father has donated a trove of letters and mementos he received from Otto Frank to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum for the 90th anniversary of the young Holocaust victim’s birth. (June 11)

Football/Italy: Captains, refs give out Anne Frank’s diary

A minute’s silence has been held and a passage from Anne Frank’s diary has been read before games in Italy this week in response to acts of anti-semitism by Lazio fans. Referees and captains has also been giving out a copy of “The Diary of Anne Frank” and Italian Jewish writer Primo Levi’s memoir “If This Is A Man.”
