Discovery of WWII Ship Revives Memories

(15 Aug 2018) Scientists have discovered part of a World War II U.S. Navy destroyer in Alaska’s Aleutian Islands. The stern from the USS Abner Read was found last month in the Bering Sea, nearly 75 years after it hit a Japanese mine. (August 15)
