NYFW: Firefighter meets prairie at Calvin Klein show

Accented with balaclavas and fireman’s suits, models wade through a popcorn-strewn barn floor at the Calvin Klein show at New York Fashion Week. Now into a second year under Belgian designer Raf Simmons, the iconic US label is one of the few bright spots in a fashion week suffering from an identity crisis, thinning schedule and a glut between the passing of one generation and the search for another.
