Coronavirus: Lombardy town divides shopping days by gender | AFP

Residents of Canonica d’Adda in Bergamo react after the mayor decreed that men would shop on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, while women would shop on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, effectively segregating shopping days by gender in a further bid to halt the spread of coronavirus. Ignoring the ordinance in the town of 4,500 carries a penalty of 400 euros.
