National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden is gaining in popularity with average Americans as more information about the NSA becomes known, according to a new Quinnipiac study. Snowden agreed this week to join the board of directors of the non-profit Freedom of the Press Foundation, which was founded by the man who leaked the Pentagon Papers in the 1970s.
